Trayendo la esperanza y el amor de Jesús a través de nuestro servicio Ayudando a las personas sin hogar, distribuyendo alimentos a personas hambrientas en vecindarios de bajos ingresos y organizando eventos de alcance comunitario para proporcionar recursos y alimentos a los necesitados.

Cómo empezamos
Our CEO’s, Norman Maradiaga, and his wife Marlene Maradiaga felt that God had placed a desire and passion in their hearts to work with children and families that live in poverty in the USA and Internationally. After much prayer, Seed of Hope Ministries Inc. became active in November 2015 when they felt that they can make a difference in the homeless community in Downtown Miami. The first event was a Thanksgiving Homeless Event on Thanksgiving Day of 2015 where hot meals were provided, personal hygiene bags, and women and men’s clothing, but most importantly the love of God was shared with every homeless. It was an indescribable, unforgettable, and most rewarding event. Since then we have attempted to have a homeless event every month in the Downtown Miami area with our staff and with the help of our volunteers.
En 2017, Seed of Hope Ministries (SOH) tuvo el honor y el privilegio de hacer su primer evento misionero en Tipitapa, Nicaragua.
A través de la oración y la dirección de Dios, nos asociamos con el pastor Franklin Mesa de la Iglesia Casa de Paz. Juntos nos acercamos a la comunidad e hicimos un evento para hombres que luchaban contra el alcoholismo en agosto de 2017. Les dimos una comida caliente, les dimos paquetes de cuidados y compartimos el amor de Jesús que resultó en que los hombres entregaran sus vidas a Cristo y renunciaran. a sus adicciones SOH regresó en diciembre de 2017 para hacer un Festival de Navidad con todos los niños en Tipitapa, ofreciendo comida caliente, juguetes y golosinas a todos los niños, y paquetes de comida a todas las familias. En 2018, hicimos un evento para madres solteras y sus hijos, donde proporcionamos un mensaje inspirador dado por el pastor Marcelo Castro de la Iglesia Clínica del Alma-Miami Gardens, se entregaron paquetes de alimentos para alimentar a familias de 4 personas durante 2 semanas, así como dulces para los niños y una comida caliente para ese día. En diciembre de 2018, nuestro festival anual de Navidad se realizó en Matagalpa, Nicaragua, donde se proporcionaron juguetes, comida para las familias y una comida caliente en coordinación con el pastor Franklin y los voluntarios de su iglesia, Casa de Paz.

Seed of Hope Ministries wanted to help and impact not only the homeless in the US but also all families and neighborhoods that are in need in our community. In August of 2018, we did our first neighborhood event called Back2School Bash in Miami Gardens, FL. We gave approximately 130 bookbags filled with school supplies, free hair cuts for the boys and hair designs for the girls, burgers and hotdogs for everyone, cotton candy, snow cones, 3 bounce houses, produce provided by FarmShare for all families, and most importantly we had the opportunity to present the gospel of Jesus and pray for those in need and willing. Through our partnership with Walmart, we were able to raffle 2 bicycles that Walmart donated. In December 2018 we returned to Miami Gardens, FL and did our annual Christmas Festival where burgers and hotdogs were given to everyone, cotton candy, snow cones, an inflatable obstacle course, a mobile game center through GameRunners, produce provided by FarmShare for all families, and most importantly we shared the love of Jesus Christ and prayed for all families in need. We also had other organizations in partnership with us who made a big difference in the event such as the Resource Room and Miami Gardens Police Department.

Seed of Hope saw another need in our community and that was the need for fresh food and produce. In 2018 we began by bringing a new program in our ministry called the Seed of Hope Food Distribution where we will partner with local churches or organizations in the much-needed communities and do food distribution events to serve everyone in the community and just bring a little bit of Hope to the Hopeless.
This was the beginning of a wonderful journey for Seed of Hope where we have been able to feed hundreds of thousands of families and share the love of Jesus.
